Before starting to climb Mount Huangshan Mountain, many friends around me advised me that the accommodation on the top of the mountain is poor, so don't expect too much. It wasn't until I pushed open the door of Huangshan Shilin Hotel with my exhausted legs that I completely broke the stereotype - at an altitude of over 1600 meters, I could live in a more comfortable feeling than at the foot of the mountain, and even the soreness of climbing a whole mountain dissipated in the moment I entered.
Coming out of the Cloud Valley Cableway, walk along the gentle stone steps for twenty minutes to reach the hotel, without having to drag your luggage on the steep mountain road. As soon as I walked to the door, the staff came up and took my hiking bag, handed me a cup of steaming ginger tea, and reminded me with a smile, 'The wind is strong on the mountain, warm up first.'. When checking in, the front desk specially arranged a mountain view room on a higher floor for me, and even filled me with a hand drawn guide map that clearly marked the nearby sunrise viewing route, the hot food supply time of the restaurant, and even where I could get hot water. It was even more practical than the guide I had made in advance.
The moment I pushed open the door was completely unexpected, without the usual cramped and damp atmosphere of a mountaintop hotel. The warm toned wooden decoration exuded a sense of security. Although the room area is not large, every detail meets the needs of climbers: the electric blanket preheated in advance feels warm to the touch, and after climbing a mountain and lying down, the stiff waist and back instantly relax; On the shelf by the window, there are free warm babies, hiking gloves, and thermos cups, so you don't have to carry these equipment up the mountain by yourself; The sound insulation is particularly solid, and when the door is closed, you can't hear the whistling of the mountain wind at all. Even when there are many guests, you can sleep soundly and comfortably.
The most surprising thing was the dining experience. I thought the food at the mountaintop would only be casual meals, but unexpectedly, the variety of buffet restaurants was so diverse that it was surprising. The Braised pork belly in the hot dish area is so soft that it tastes delicious, and the local dried bamboo shoots are so fresh that the eyebrows fall off. The noodles are available 24 hours a day at the window. Even if you come back after watching the sunrise in the morning, you can still have a bowl of hot Noodles in soup. The french window of the restaurant is facing the mountain scenery. While eating, you can watch the pine branches outside the window sway in the wind. Even eating has become a kind of enjoyment. What's even more considerate is that the restaurant also provides free hot ginger tea. After strolling in the mountains, having a drink instantly relieves the chill all over your body.
The sense of service is just right, without excessive disturbance, but always appears when you need it. I forgot to bring my thick coat when I went out to watch the sunset. When I returned to the hotel, I found that the staff had neatly folded my coat that had fallen on the observation deck and placed it at the door of my room; At night, I was organizing photos in my room and casually told the cleaning lady that my legs were a bit sore. Not long after, she brought a small bottle of mugwort cream for hot compress; The next morning, we went to watch the sunrise. The hotel specially arranged for staff to lead a team and walk along the familiar road for ten minutes to reach the best point of the cooling platform, without having to grope on the mountain road in the dark.

Even free hiking gloves and baby warmers are placed by the window, afraid that we might freeze our hands when we go to watch the sunrise at night.
At five o'clock in the evening, I followed the hotel's instructions to the nearby Lion Peak observation deck, without having to squeeze into a crowd to find a spot. At sunset, the orange red rays spread on the strange pines and rocks all over the mountain, and the whole Mount Huangshan Mountain was wrapped in warm gold. I stood on the observation platform, blowing the mountain wind, and even my breath slowed down. Back in the hotel's cafeteria, the dishes were more abundant than expected. A long row of hot dishes, Noodles in soup, and local specialties Anhui Cuisine cuisine were arranged. At 5:30 am the next day, I followed the hotel staff to the cooling table and arrived at the best sunrise viewing spot in ten minutes, without having to walk on unfamiliar mountain roads in the dark. Watching the sun slowly emerging from behind the sea of clouds, the golden light was covered with billowing clouds and waves, and people around me were whispering. I wrapped myself in the thick down jacket provided by the hotel, holding the hot soybean milk I just took from the restaurant, and even my fingertips were warm.
